Duffy is working on new material with Albert Hammond Sr – father of The Strokes' guitarist. Since splitting with her management late last year, the Welsh singer has also parted ways with her co-writers and band, and decamped to the US. Duffy starts work on second album
Duffy has reportedly started work on her second studio album in New York.
The Welsh singer is said to be writing material with The Roots' drummer Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson and Albert Hammond Snr, father of The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jnr. Albert Hammond Snr scored a number of hits in the 1970s, while Thompson has previously worked with acts including Christina Aguilera and N*E*R*D. Duffy released debut album Rockferry in 2008, which has sold over 6 million copies worldwide. The 25-year-old's as-yet-untitled second album is expected to be released later this year. Hi everyone, i know this is my problem not anybody else's but i can't find any news to post about duffy, when i search for duffy news all kind of stuff show up that have nothing to do with the singer. I'm a bit lost i must say. But i'll find myself. hold on i'm just trying to figure how to be more specific on my searches.
